During respiration, a large amount of heat is released due to break down of glucose.
During respiration we need energy. We get this energy from food we eat. During digestion, food is broken down into simpler substances is called respiration . Thus, during respiration energy is released and hence, it is considered an exothermic reaction
Because oxygen is released in respiration.
