Because when the sub shell are half and fully filled the electrons in it donot emit energy. As we all know minimum the energy released maximum will be the stability
Fully filled sub shell are stable because their electronic configuration is full and they have no need to acquire more electron and half filled sub shell are also stable because of the valence configuration in sub shell if they acquire a more electron than they become unstable that\’s why they are stable with their half filled sub shell
