(b)(-19/12)
Because,
Let the missing number be X,
(-3/4) – (X) = (5/6)
By sending (-X) from the left hand side to the right side it becomes (X) and (5/6) from right hand side to left hand side it becomes (-5/6)
= (X) = (-3/4) – (5/6)
LCM of 4 and 6 is 12
(-3 × 3)/ (4×3) = (-9/12)
(-5×2) / (6×2) = (-10/12)
(X) = (-9-10)/12
(X) = (-19/12)
