Bile juice is a digestive juice secreted by the liver. Although it does not contain any digestive enzymes, it plays an important role in the digestion of fats. Bile juice has bile salts such as bilirubin and biliverdin. These break down large fat globules into smaller globules in the small intestine so that the pancreatic enzymes can easily act on them. This process is known as emulsification of fats. Bile juice also makes the medium alkaline and activates lipase.
Bile juice perform main function it break down the large food globules into smaller ones this function is called emulsification

(A) it helps to break down the large globules of fats into smaller globules , thereby increasing the efficiency of enzyme action (B) bile salts make the acidic food comming from stomach to alkaline which is necessay for the action of pancreatic enzymes
1. It nutrilises the acidity of the food.2. It makes medium alkaline for the action of enzymes of pancreatic and intestinal juice.3. It breaks the fats present in the food into small globules , making it easy for the enzymes to act and digest them.
