A logarithm is the power to which a number must be raised in order to get some other number.
Log stands for logarithm function, it describes by what power the given number which is the base of the logarithm (written in small before the second value or left out when base is 10 or e )must be raised to give the number whose logarithm is to be found ,its domain is greater than zero less than infinity.
