Democracy is a form of government in which rulers elected by the people. We need democracy so that people can elect their rules and the rulers take decision on behalf of people. Democracy gives a chance to the people to elect their representatives and change the current ruler if they wish to do so. ( Some more reasons are there for why we need democracy)
