Atmosphere: The gaseous envelope surrounding the earth constitutes the atmosphere.

A layer of air consisting of gases, mist, raindroplets, smoke, fog and many other particles which acts as an umbrella which seperates the earth from the nearby space is called atmosphere. It is divided into 5 namely TROPOSPHERE, STRATOSPHERE, MESOSPHERE, THERMOSPHERE and EXOSPHERE.
The envelop of gases sorrounding the earth or the another planet is known as ATMOSPHERE.
