For hypermetropia numerical :- f= xd/ x-d X is distance of near point for defected eye and d is distance of near point of normal eye.
For myopia numericals :- f = -x. Where f is focal length of lens and x is the new far point .you may get this formula by. 1/v – 1/u = 1/f. V= x and is negative u = infinity then 1/infinity =0.
