Mongaraj Kashyap
According to his earliest memory of his grandmother, Khushwant Singh\’s grandmother was a short, fat and slightly bent yet, superstitious woman. Her face was characterized by criss – cross wrinkles which ran all over her pale and puckered skin. She looked too old that it was nearly impossible to believe that once, she used to be a pretty woman. She always wore spotless white clothes with one hand resting on her waist to support her stoop and the other with beads of her rosary. Though old, she used to be a very kind and loving woman who truly symbolised pure serenity and was very fond of animals.
