1) In presence of oxygen : Glucose break down to form pyruvate in mitochondria. * end products are : carbon dioxide , water2) In insufficient oxygen : It take place in muscle cell and undergoes anaerobic respiration.* end products are :lactic acid and lot of energy.3) In absence of oxygen : Glucose break down to pyruvate in cytoplasm * end products are : ethanol , small amount of energy.???
There r 2 ways in which glucose is oxidised 1- in aerobic respiration, the glucose food is completely broken down by oxygen(of air) inhaled during breathing to form carbon dioxide and water, and lot of energy is released2-in anaerobic respiration, glucose food is incompletely broken down by microorganism like yeast in absence of oxygen(of air)to form ethanol and carbon dioxide, but much less energy is released
