Yes. We know that mechaincal energy = potential energy + kinetic energy
Momentum of a body `= m upsilon`
When momentum is zero, `upsilon = 0 (as m != 0)` and as such KE. =` (1)/(2) m upsilon^2 = 0`
Thus, mechanical energy = potentail energy.
