GIVEN:
area of the parallelogram is 72cm2
FORMULA USED:
Area of parallelogram = (Base × Height) sq. unit
CALCULATION:
Let the height of the parallelogram be x cm and the Base be 2x cm
⇒ Area of parallelogram = (Base × Height) sq. unit
⇒ 72 = x × 2x
⇒ 72 = 2x2
⇒ x2 = 36
⇒ x = 6
∴ Height of the parallelogram is 6 cm
