Both curd and sour substances contain acids which when reacts with Cu or brass vessel a certain salt is released which are poisonous in nature and can cause harm.

Bcz curd / sour substance have acid . If it will be placed in copper vessels than it will react with it to form metallic salt which will make food to get poisonous .
These type of substances should not be kept in brass and copper vessels because curd and sour substances have acid in them and in presence of brass and copper these acids make poisonous substances.That\’s all.
