In aquatic organism the oxygen need for breathing is already dissolved in water whereas in terrestrial animal they need to take oxygen from the air this is why the rate of breathing in aquatic organism much faster
Because oxygen is less soluble in water…that why the breathing rate of terrestrial organism is more than aquatic organism
