Why is potassium more reactive than sodium?
Yes….gitika…is ….correct. ….because potassium has 1 valence electron in its 4 th shell while sodium has 1 valence electron in 3rd shell. ..hence it is easier for potassium to loose electrons…thus k is more reactive than sodium
Because potassium lose electrons more readily than sodium
May be becoz potassium is place above sodium in the reactivity series.
K has lower ionisation energy than sodium due to bigger atomic size, therefore, it is more reactive.
