Conservatism was a political ideology which stressed on the importance of traditional institutions like Monarchy, Property, Social heirarchies, etc and preferred gradual development over quick change. Conservatism- political doctrine that emphasizes the value of traditional institutions and practices. Conservastism is a preference for the historically inherited rather than the abstract and ideal
Conservatives tend to reject behavior that does not conform to some social norm. Modern conservative parties often define themselves by their opposition to liberal or labor parties. The United States usage of the term “conservative” is unique to that country.
