●Overloading: If a large number of electrical appliances connected in parallel are switched on at the same time, then circuit current will be extremely high than actual current rating of the circuit. This is called overloading.●Short circuiting: If insulation of live wire and neutral wire is damaged due to some reason like overloading or voltage fluctuations for poor quality of wire then the live wire touches the neutral wire directly, the condition is called short circuiting.
When a live wire and neutral wire come into direct contact with each other is called short circuit
overloading- overloading can occur when the live wire and neutral wire come into direct contactshort circuiting- the current in the circuit abruptly increases
Overloading is a situation in which live wire comes in contact with neutral wire usually when their insulation is damaged. In such a situation, the current in circuit abruptly rises. This situation is known as Short circuiting.
