Light reaction- # it takes place in presence of sun light# it occurs in grana region od chloroplast # it is fast reaction # production of ATP andNADPH2 takes place Dark reaction – # it takes place in absence of sun light but in day time# it occur in stroma region of chloroplast # it is slow reaction # ATP And NADPH2 are used to prepair molecule of glucose
Light reactions–\xa0need\xa0light\xa0to produce organic energy molecules (ATP and NADPH). They are initiated by colored pigments, mainly green colored chlorophylls.\xa0Dark reactions–\xa0make use of these organic energy molecules (ATP and NADPH). This\xa0reaction\xa0cycle is also called Calvin Benison Cycle, and it occurs in the stroma.
