Sum of two numbers = -1/3
One of the number = -12/3
By using the formula,
Other number = sum of number – given number
= (-1/3) – (-12/3)
\(=\frac{(-1+12)}{3}\\=\frac{11}{3}\)
\(\therefore\) the other number is \(\frac{11}{3}\)
