We can proof that caste system is still prevailing in our society by following ways:-1 . In our country mainly in villages people\’s thinking has not been changed like the higher caste people mainly Brahmans will marry a boy/girl of lower caste. They will marry with a boy/girl of same caste only, and they are not allowing lower caste people to enter into their houses also.2. Due to caste system the lower caste people had got some reservations( SC,ST,OBC etc.) in educational field as well as in competitive and working field. Due to this they get some opportunities for education and jobs. 3. Mainly in villages we see in temple that the higher caste priest in temple are not allowing lower caste people to enter into the temple.
Caste inequalities roots yet not completely finished from our country. Most of the people or families still get married with their own caste or tribe. This caste inequality in our country still leads to untouchability among various social groups. Education yet not easily available to the people belongs to low castes. Economic status is also closely linked to the caste systemThese all factors and facts are enough to say that caste system and caste inequalities are still prevailing in our country.
