Trypsin and pepsin are two proteases which act on proteins and break down into peptides and amino acids. Trypsin is produced by the pancreas and secreted into the small intestine. Pepsin is produced by stomach glands. It is one of the main gastric enzymes. This is the difference between trypsin and pepsin.\tPepsin and trypsin break down proteins. Both are principal proteases in the human digestive system.\tBoth enzymes are secreted in inactive forms such as pepsinogen and trypsinogen.
