1.globalisation is not new phenomenon.it was there at the time of colonisation2.the Champaran movement which stared in 1917.3.under globalisation particularly after 1990,the farmers in India have been exposed to new challenge.
Globalisation has posed and new challenge to Indian agriculture through India is an important producer of many crops it is not able to compete with the developed countries because agriculture is highly subsidised in other countries it is only when Indian farmers diversify from cultivation of caerals to high value crops their position will improve।
