Saturated compound–1.Saturated compounds are generally known as alkane.2.they form single bond.3.or by using bromine water it will not chnge it colour when we add it into Saturated compound.Unsaturated compound–1.unsaturated compounds are generally known as alkene or alkyne.2.they form double or triple bond.3.it will chnge it colour when we add it into any unsaturated compound.
Saturated hydrocarbons are usually alkanes i.e CnH2n+2Whereas alkenes and alkynes are insaturated hydrocarbons with formula CnH2n and CnH2n-2 respectively.?
