Firstly glucose is broken in form of pyruvate in cytoplasm which is stored as intermediate after which,………….. if it is anaerobic respiration is there than pyruvate will be broken down into ethanol and carbon dioxide,………….But if there is aerobic respiration than pyruvate will break down to form carbon dioxide and water,…………In special cases in our muscle cells when they work very effecietly than they do anaerobic respiration breaking pyruvate into lactic acid. which accumulates inti cell causing muscle cramps
