The following are the three contraceptive devices that can be used by women for family planning :
(i) Barrier methods : This includes condom for females that covers the vagina and cervix.
(ii) Intrauterine devices : (IUDS) : These are inserted by docters or expert nurses in the uterus or vagina. For example : Lippes loop, cut and multilood 375.
(iii) Pills : These include progestogen pills or progestogen-estrogen combination pills.
