    1. Conventional sources of energy are in use from the past. 1. The non-conventional sources are in use from recent times.
    2. They spread pollution. 2. These are eco-friendly
    3. Conventional sources of energy are generally exhaustible. 3. Non-conventional sources of energy  are usually inexhaustible.
    4. These include firewood, cattle dung cake, coal, petroleum, natural gas and electricity (both hydel and thermal). 4. These include solar, wind, tidal, geo-thermal, biogas and atomic  energy.

  1. Ash first you said they can be exhausted …… then you said they cannot be exhausted.
    Conventional are non-renewable source of energy.Nonconventional are renewable source of energy
    Conventional sources of energy are the sources that are commonly in use since long time. Non-conventional sources of energy refers to the sources that are identified few decades ago. They can be exhausted due to over consumption. They cannot be exhausted.
