Artry cary oxygenated and veina caryy deoxygented blood..Exoect pulmonary artry and vens.. They are oppostite to it
But there are exceptions pulmonary artery is the only arteries which carries deoxygenated blood and pulmonary vein is the only veins which carries oxygenated blood
Arteries carries oxygenated blood whereas veins carries deoxygenated blood
1:Artery carriers oxygenated blood from heart to all parts of body whereas veins carries deoxygenated blood from parts of body to heart.2:pressure of blood on artery is high whereas there is low blood pressure in veins .3: pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood from lungs to heart. and pulmonary vein carries oxygen rich blood from heart to lungs
Art – thick, veins – thin
